Lead India Group organized the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Lead India Publishers Association (LIPA) in Gandhi Peace Foundation, Delhi. Publishers from across India, LIPA members, presidents of other media organizations, and renowned journalists participated in the AGM hold on 7th march 2012.

PCI Chairman, Hon’ble Justice Markandey Katju, was the Chief Guest of the AGM. He appreciated the initiatives taken by LIPA for the welfare of regional media.

During the AGM, LIPA launched its Project Shakti and extended its mission website by introducing two additional high-tech layouts. In the second session of the AGM, State Presidents were elected through voting for Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Karnataka, Kashmir, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Jammu & Ladakh region, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

In the final segment of the AGM, Lead India Excellency Awards were presented to selected individuals in different categories, including Best Publisher, Best Reporter, Upcoming Best Publisher, and Best Social Worker.
