Dr. Taruna S. Gaur is Co-Founder of the Lead India Group. Passionate about fighting corruption and injustice, she entered journalism early—her first article appeared in Dainik Jagran in 7th grade.

She holds an M.A. in English (2000) and qualifications in Mass Communication and Journalism (2002–2004). Her story on leprosy patients won “Best Story” from Dainik Bhaskar in 2004.

Starting in Jhansi, she worked as a reporter at Mahamedha and Virat Vaibhav, and sub-editor at Delhi Varta. She also joined S1 National News Channel in 2006 and  She co-founded the Lead India Group with Mr. Subhash Singh.

As Group Editor, she helped establish the Lead India Publishers Association (LIPA) as General Secretary. She earned her Ph.D. in 2019 on regional media management and circulation
