In 2010, with the view of making the regional newspapers and magazines organized and powerful “Lead India Group” get registered ‘Lead India Publishers Association (LIPA)’. In merely 7 years above 7 thousand regional newspapers and magazines have joined it as members.  With huge membership, LIPA became the nation’s largest media association.

Currently, ‘The lead India Publishers Association is working in 17 states of the country Andhra Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Haryana, facilitating the regional benefit of regional media. Through its project, Shakti ‘Lead India Publisher’s Association (LIPA)’ can publish any news item concerned with the larger interest of the country in every member’s newspaper.

Lead India Publisher Association is included in many central level media committees like DAVP, RNI, PIB, States DPR, etc.

Newspapers and journals of every state and Union Territory are members of the association.

In the domain of regional media, ‘Lead India Publishers Association’ is popularly coined as LIPA.

LIPA has independent units in seventeen states.

Among 15000 active newspapers, 7 thousand are members of LIPA.

Lands are allotted to LIPA in Jharkhand and Noida for the construction of Bhawans (Building) for the members of LIPA.
